Where's Anthony Richardson?

Everybody knows preseason football is a farce designed to enrich owners, but here was a chance to get AR some game-time reps. But Shane Steichen said, "Not so fast."

Took me two preseason games to question Colts head coach Shane Steichen, which may just count as a personal record.

Why, for the love of Sam Ehlinger, wasn’t Anthony Richardson, the same Anthony Richardson who was named the starter earlier this week, not under center when the Colts faced the Chicago Bears Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium?

Why was Richardson standing on the sideline, wearing an earpiece, watching Gardner Minshew handing off to Deon Jackson to open the game? Does he really need cheerleading reps? He’s not Peyton Freaking Manning, for crying out loud.
