WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Now comes the hard part. Now comes the post-season, the time when Purdue has another chance to anoint itself as a true national powerhouse capable of reaching the Final Four and possibly winning a national championship.
Now comes the puckering.
Admit it, Boiler faithful. After another season of greatness, another season when Purdue won the Big Ten regular season title by multiple games, another season led by presumptive two-time National Player of the Year Zach Edey, you’re worried. Is this it? Is this finally the time when the matchups line up perfectly, when the guards continue to shoot lights-out from three, when Purdue plays the kind of basketball they’ve been playing throughout another remarkable regular season?
