The one game is a joke, I think Thomas was trying to inflict a little pain. Bonner joins the Fever last year. Bonner and Fever don't work out. She signs with Phoenix. Bonner and Clark have a mild tiff on Monday. Definitely some bad blood there. Thomas and Bonner are engaged. Thomas has a chance to do a little payback and takes advantage.
I also wish Clark would ease up on the eye rolls and complaining, but what came first the physical abuse she has taken these first few years or her complaining? They still can wrap their arms around her and bump her with no calls, but she touches anyone a whistle is immediate. She has to be averaging about 5 fouls a game.
I have a question maybe you can answer. When the WNBA players negotiated for higher pay and benefits before this season started, did the WNBA referees/officials receive a higher pay and benefits package due to league expansion and more tv revenue?
I've watched the video of Wednesday's Fever game, and it's a bit of hyperbole to say that Thomas "punched" CC in the neck. She used her fist to push herself back up, and that was definitely worthy of the Flagrant 2 they eventually called, but not really a punch.
The Fever game the other night was tough to stomach. As a season ticket holder, it made me want to give them up. The video review process has overtaken the game. The officiating is bizarre. And, it is tougher and tougher to be a Caitlin Clark fan. All the things are true about what she brings and how she is treated, but the incessant whining, leading the league in turnovers (leading the league in turning it over and not hustling back on defense too), the on court demeanor, all of it makes her more of a target and harder to cheer for. CC and the GM need to look in mirror and ask why we look worse than the end of last season.

Totally agree with you on Engelbert who should have lost her job 2 years ago…she must have pictures on someone!

LaBron whines but he's gaming the system, looking for an edge.
I'm amazed at Caitlin's degree of restraint, which is necessary on several levels:
She'd get her clock cleaned by the much larger players that cheap-shot her.
She has her image to maintain.
The refs would eject her but not the other.
Shame on you Bob for doubting Braden's ability to make it in the NBA because of his size. Take your IU bias out of the equation.
