I agree that this Pacer loss sucks. But I also believe that Prichard has a back up plan other than to put all eggs in the basket for this coming season and the next. He is smart and calculating. He knows it was a 50/50 chance either way. Let's be patient and see what he does long term over next season. I'm sure he has contingency plans for beyond 2027-28.
Today was another gut punch, along with a long line of them for the Pacers over the years. At the same time, they have had their fair share of some of the most historic games and finishes over the last 35+ years, which is somewhat of a consolation. Those are great memories. But yes, dammit. It would have been decade altering.
