I have zero confidence in Ballard. He’s always been the smartest guy in the room and he’s liable to try to show us again Thursday.

While we clearly need to draft a tight end, I’m not 100% convinced that our tight end group last year was as bad as we have been led to believe. I think their poor receiving stats were because we seldom actually threw to them. I point a large part of the blame at the QB and at the head coach who did the play calling.

I say run AR and JT constantly. If AR if injury prone, let it go to its logical end. He’s a runner first at 260, let him go and if he gets hurt, at least you played to his strength with an All Pro RB. Run option. Why not? This team has no chance of making noise even if they somehow get to the playoffs.

Win or lose Richardson is still a tremendous athlete. If he whiffs as a QB, could you see him as a WR or TE, both big needs? He might still be a big asset for the Colts.
