First things first:
A few months ago, I suggested I might be retiring at the end of the summer.
I lied.
Well, OK. I didn’t lie. It was true at the time. I was in a bad place personally and didn’t think I’d want to continue writing a time or two every week.
Since that time, things have improved and I’m feeling far better. So I’m going to keep writing, keep pontificating, whatever it is I do, for another year or maybe two. So if you have any desire to get a monthly subscription, knock yourself out. And if not…no worries.
Second thing:
My wife and I are going to Jamaica from May 9 through the 15th, so I’ll miss Games 3-6 in the Pacers-Cavaliers series and will not be writing. Sorry for the unfortunate timing, but 35 years ago, I had no way of knowing my anniversary would coincide with a Pacers Eastern Conference semifinal series. My wife and I have not been on a real vacation in years and this seemed like the right time.
Ya, mon.
Just praying they’ll show the games in the resort sports bar.
Have a great trip! Since you're not retiring yet, can we have non-retirement cake? I want cake.
Looking forward to more dopey pontifications!! Cheers!
Glad to hear you're staying on. Have fun in Jamaica. We've been there several times and love it.
